Sunday night we hung out with my sister and brother-in-law Todd to celebrate his birthday. Tonight they’re having a big Golden Birthday with all their cool young friends, and while we were invited, those pesky kids of ours prevent us from going. It’s probably for the best, because as I told Chrissa, we’d definitely bring down the cool quotient when we entered the room. So Todd had his besties over for a little bbq. When your brother-in-law is as well known as Todd it’s nice to be included in the small celebration. And I’m not being sarcastic when I say that.
Last night the girls–Hayley, Mindy and I–hung out in the air-conditioned living room while the guys hung in the backyard with the grill. Since kids like to run and play, they hung with the men, too.
This entire post is just to get to the following picture. It was taken by K-Bug’s daddy as they were all outside. Aren’t the girls beautiful? I just wanna squeeze their cheeks.
