My husband is going out with his friend tonight, the same friend he went out with last weekend. Let me say this is unfair, because this friend Matt is husband to Chrissa, one of my dearest friends, and I haven’t hung out with her in over a week. I haven’t hung out with any of my friends in over a week. I feel like I should stamp my foot a la Little Missy and whine “That’s not fair!”
But I’ll be okay. I’ve watched two full episodes of Friday Night Lights and am completely hooked. I knew this would happen, so I put it off as long as possible, and only began the series when it was near its end. This way I don’t have to deal with pesky commercials or lags between seasons. Now I just pop on Netflix or my sister’s copy and there we go! That plan worked out quite well for me when Hubby and I watched the entire Battlestar Galactica series in a few months.
I will miss the peeps on FNL as much as I miss the people from BG. Now any time I see Caprica Six on another show I immediately think ”Oh, isn’t that cute! She’s pretending to be an actress before she goes home to Gaius.” When I’m 85 I may very well be one of those women who rambles on about her friends Luke and Laura who aren’t real people but actually characters on a soap opera.
Here I am, only 32, and I’ve got the rambling part down pat.

*GASP* Tell me you aren’t comparing BSG to a teeny-bopper drama?!?!?! And lol about the Caprica Six bit.
OH ABBIE. Friday Night Lights is soooo not a teeny-bopper drama. You need to watch it. It’s fantastic.
I don’t know Abbie, so I’m going to try to forgive her for calling FNL a teeny-bopper drama.
It’s Abbie Crumley! Now she’s known as Abbie Griffith.
Gasp! I do know Abbie! And now it’s even easier to forgive her. And loan her my FNL DVDs.
