in celebrities, just me

Because of the Snuggle Time that Baby Chickadee and I enjoy two times  a week (Have I talked about Snuggle Time before?  Between the blog and my columns and talking to my friends I forget what I have said and where.  I could easily end up saying the same thing in three different places without realizing it.  Anyway, while G and Little Missy are at school I ignore housework and play on the living room floor with Baby Chickadee before she falls asleep on my chest.  I have given it the official name “Snuggle Time.”  It is a glorious way to spend two hours.) I have watched a lot of movies on Netflix.  Bless their instant download.

Because it is just me and a baby who doesn’t care about the TV, I get to watch girly movies that I am kind enough to not subject my husband to.  Really, it’s for my benefit as well, because if I look at him and expect him to exclaim with joy at the same parts as me and instead get a forced raised eyebrows and fake smile, well, that would rob the movie of some of its sunshine.  Best to watch some of these movies when he’s not around.

A few months ago I watched The Young Victoria about the early years of Queen Victoria’s reign, and more importantly how she met, married, and lived happily ever after with her prince.  OhMyGoodnessAlbertAndVictoriaAreSoPrecious.  I asked my sister–Hayley the History Buff–if it was true: Was the movie correct?  Did they really love each other that much?  She said yes and I really don’t want to research it any further.  I’ll think about them as they laugh with eachother in that very last scene of the movie.

Emily Blunt is quickly becoming one of my favorite actresses.  She certainly has a knack for choosing adorable movies.  This one, and then The Adjustment Bureau (Have you seen The Adjustment Bureau?  Sweetie-pie movie.) makes me interested in whatever else she comes out in.

I’m not too sure about her real-life husband, though.  Something Borrowed?  Mmm, not promising.  But he did make one of my favorite movies, Away We Go.  Now, if you decide to watch this, please know the first scene is very graphic.  Make it past that and it is cutie!

What are your favorites on instant download?  Give me the good stuff because Baby Chickadee and I only have a few Snuggle Times left this school year.
