Little Missy’s new favorite thing is blasting the Mistletoe Kitty song on her princess cd player as she skips in joy around the main floor of our house. I feel her four-year-old enthusiasm for music. I also see her in a few years standing in front of the bathroom mirror, belting out out Fade to Black and I Will Survive along with her tape player while her family politely acts like they cannot hear. Maybe Little Missy will live out my dream of singing on stage like Jenny Lewis or Alison Sudol.
In other new-found love news: Baby Chickadee loves to chew on disposable wipes. Every time I change her diaper her eyes light up and her head turns toward the crinkling sound of the wipe bag. Poor baby, as I always keep it from her hands. But sometimes she is wily enough to get it while I’m distracted by her dirty diaper. But then I have to take the wipe from her hand and mouth and she is always surprised that her mommy who loves her would take away a piece of her happiness.

Don’t forget to mention the ear-splitting volume necessary to fully appreciate the Kitty and her music.
