My mother-in-law gave me a gift card for my birthday. Instead of hanging on to it for six months like I did last time I spent a few hours on the internet and used the whole thing. Ooh it felt good. In a few days I’ll have some new dresses and a new sweater.
But here comes the test. It’s the first time I’ve bought clothes since I organized my closet and decided to not add anymore without taking some away. One in, one out. Probably some stretched-out t-shirts that I never wear will be the first to go. And I’m okay with that. It just means the dress to shirt ratio is getting more unbalanced.
In other news of Erin’s Fashion, Vera Wang loves leggings, too. Hayley sent that link to me after the blog where I wondered if I could continue to wear leggings without being the weird mom. Apparently yes. Although I’m not about to wear them with only a boy’s tank on top. I’m not an 88-pound Asian woman. But if I’m weird with leggings then at least I’m weird with Vera. Solidarity, you know.
