that kind of sums it up

in celebrities, hubby, random-ness

Last week Hubby sent me a link wherein a guy summarizes a new TV show.  And this guy sums it up well.  This is a kind of TV show where upon hearing about it we all stand around, slackjawed, able only to mumble “Not really.” but this guy puts in to words how disgusting the show is.

Now, I’ve been sitting on this link for a week, not sure if I would share it.  My parents read this blog, my mother-in-law, my grandma, and I don’t want any of them to be offended by the language.  It’s not the worst you’ve read, but it is vulgar in parts.  So just be prepared before you click over.

Anyway, Bridalplasty: The New Reality Show That Proves We’re Doomed. [the link should work now!  sorry. -erin]

I’d like to add:

One thing about reading the above article is how surprised I am that the producers were able to find 12 women, 12 empty enough and vain enough women, to compete on the show.  And I wonder: Do I run into people like this as I go about my day-to-day business?  Are there enough of them out there that while I stand in line at Dillon’s and comment to the person behind me about the cold weather, is she or he that empty on the inside?

Because what I keep thinking is These girls need Jesus.  And I know that sounds strange to a lot of you, especially those of you who knew me when I was brazenly not following Jesus, but being in relationship with Him makes things–makes LIFE–so much sweeter.  I hope all those women come out of their fog and find His real joy.
