I think 40 is God’s favorite number. Or at least He finds it very important. Some of the examples that stick out to me:
it rained for 40 days and 40 nights
the Israelites wandered in the desert for 40 years
Moses spent 40 days with God each time He wrote the 10 c0mmandments
Jesus spent 40 days in the desert after His baptism
All this to say that my sweet Baby Chickadee was 40 days old yesterday. I decided that since it is such an important day I should take a picture. Behold, our precious baby:

ADORABLE!!!! I promise promise promise you will get that quilt – my mom went out of town and I was too scared to finish by myself but Chickadee will have her quilt for sure when its cold!!! Give all your babies kisses from us!
Awe! I’m so glad I got to see her on her very important 40th day. She is so sweet. God is just so amazing!!
