Yesterday morning I was upstairs in the bathroom getting ready for the day when I heard G and Little Missy belly-laughing in the kitchen. They make each other giggle in the car, at the park, wherever the mood strikes them, and their laughter bounces to everyone in range.
Sometimes they ooze sweetness from their pores.
Or also yesterday, G was playing on pbskids.org when he had Little Missy sit next to him so he could help her design an Elmo book. With each step he’d ask which color she wanted and she’d happily suggest one, then at the end he typed her name into the author’s spot. At that point they wanted me to see their finished product. “Yeah, Little Missy did this!” her proud brother announced.
The night before I was watching TV while the kids cut paper and ribbon to make kites. G said to his sister “Look! Do you like it?” Little Missy immediately exclaimed, “I love it! What is it?” She had no idea what he was making, only knew that she loved it because he was making it.
How could I not want oodles of these blessings walking around my house?
