A few weeks ago we were watching some movie–I think it was The Tale of Despereaux, but I’m not exactly sure–when a yucky scene of rats upon rats streaming out of a sewer was on screen. Little Missy asked calmly ”Oh, are those like the rats in my hair?”

I realized that when I brush her hair I must tell her that I’m getting the rats out. But I really tried to avoid using that term because I didn’t want to scare her. But she’s not scared! Of gross rats being in her hair!
Sunday morning her daddy was brushing her hair before church when she asked him if he was getting the rats out, to which he responded affirmatively.
“Oh, that’s good, because they’re biting my hair.”
GIRL, rats in your hair really should bother you.

Ok…also, I asked Sam about the urinal thing…and he said he hadn’t done it so I am relieved!…maybe I shouldn’t use the work “relieved” when I am talking about urinals? ha.
