While on our Christmas hiatus from work and school and laundry we spent most of that time together, playing and conversing as a family. During one eventful afternoon G informed us that two boys from his preschool class had drank water from the urinal.
You read that right: They drank water from the urinal.
Curious, Hubby asked G how they’d been able to drink water from such a contraption.
“They flushed it, and then they put their mouths on it,” he said matter-of-factly.
Hubby looked at me, I looked at him, and we quickly decided that G should tell those boys they are dumb if he ever sees them do that again. We’re all for being nice to people and not calling names, but come on, THEY LICKED A URINAL. Those kids know better than that. But G is a sweet-hearted little thing and refuses to call them dumb.
“Daddy,” he explained, ”they haven’t done it in a long time. I don’t need to call them dumb.”
