“The Lord made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.” Genesis 3:21
Adam and Eve had sinned and their consequence was banishment from the garden. Before He sent them out God made Adam and Eve garments to better protect them. He didn’t show them how to make the clothes themselves, He didn’t toss the instructions at them and tell them to do it themselves, no, He lovingly made the garments to protect them in their new surroundings. Adam and Eve had to live with the consequence of their sin, but our kind and generous Lord gave them protection to face the challenges ahead. The very thing they naively used to try and hide their sin–the clothing they haphazardly made to hide their nakedness–is precisely what He improved on to protect them from the world outside the garden. God won’t necessarily take away the earthly repercussion of our sin, but He will be there to help us through it.
