Here’s a line from the God is in the Hard Stuff book I’m reading. It hit me hard, but it’s so true. Letting your kids grow up and be more independent is one of the hardest things for a mother to do, but it’s also the most rewarding. I know it’s true because it means so much when one of the girls comes over to give me a hug and say, “I love you.” Just because they want to and not because I prompted them by saying it first.
I’m a woman who loves Jesus, my husband, my children, and everyday I try to show my love more completely to them. I also like to laugh and be with friends. And as of December 2008, I'm a weekly newspaper columnist. You can reach me at erinslittlecorneroftheworld@gmail.com.
