Hubby is cheap. Like, CHEAP. As I sit here writing this he is at work in shoes that have holes in them. Tiny holes, holes that probably can’t be readily seen by his coworkers, but holes nonetheless. I know he plans on buying some new ones, but his combination of not superficial+extremely cheap=buying shoes when he gets around to it, and who knows when that will happen.
I, on the other hand, jump at the chance to buy new shoes. Recently I made the decision to not own lots of pairs of shoes, but you can bet that once one of those pairs has a hole I will run to the store to replace them.
Hubby is not cheap when it comes to the air conditioner. I can stand to be a little warm, but Hubby cannot. He grumbles and tosses and turns at night when he thinks the house is too warm. Lately this has meant that he will no longer let me turn off the a/c at night to leave the windows open. The other morning I opened the door when he left for the day and it was chilly outside, much chillier than our air-conditioned home. That was frustrating. But I relish the opportunity to tell you, my friendly blog readers, of the rare times that I am right.

Maybe he is sacrificing for the AC? ha.
My husband has boxers you can see through and I call them his airconditioned boxers…haha. He would die if he knew I told you that….even better!
Haha – you know how frugal we are! However, my hubby is extremely frugal with the A/C and we didn’t even turn ours on until May 30th, and it gets hot down here!
