Just to be clear, different foods should not touch each other on the plate, ever.
The rest of it is just crazy fascinating. Like, I just don’t have any words for how strange this kid is when it comes to food. If she ever actually puts something in her mouth, I am amazed. I mean, who doesn’t like a cheese stick, Little Missy? Seriously.
Erin, I totally and completely commiserate! While Sassy will eat PB&J, she is very, ver similar to LM in her food aversions. No veggies, no mixed meals, no touching…
The riefined/unrefined thing is spot on!
Please do tell when you come up with any additional solutions!
I’m a woman who loves Jesus, my husband, my children, and everyday I try to show my love more completely to them. I also like to laugh and be with friends. And as of December 2008, I'm a weekly newspaper columnist. You can reach me at erinslittlecorneroftheworld@gmail.com.

Sounds like my husband! It has taken 12 years of marriage for him to decide the word “casserole” isn’t a bad word!

Our little Tank will eat anything you put in front of him. He doesn’t care if it’s touching. He doesn’t even care if it’s food.
I adore her and sympathize. I will never figure this whole parenting thing out.
